Match the product to the daily job.
Walden is a powered LCD frame for family photographs, shared contributions and short videos. It gives up the cordless e-paper appearance in exchange for a more screen-like presentation and broader media support. The Aura app and cloud workflow are part of the purchase, and the current page does not settle stock despite displaying a price.

Independent evidence
What reviewers and owners actually found.
PetaPixel’s April 2024 Walden review supports its use as a family-photo frame, and TechRadar praised the crisp display, frame quality and collaborative sharing. The cost, physical size and cloud dependence remain part of that purchase. In a broader Aura discussion, an explicitly identified Walden owner reported enjoying the frame before a reboot loop. Other models in that thread do not establish Walden behavior, and one report cannot quantify reliability or describe current software.

Ownership limits
Resolve these uncertainties before ordering.
Aura identifies Carbon with Paper Mat as the color formerly called Ink; these are not two separate hardware variants. Current stock and media export behavior need confirmation.
