- KEYBOARDS’ OLED/OS 4.1.3 review praises the flexible grid workflow but notes that waveform editing still uses the pad grid and that there are no individual audio outputs. This is historical firmware evidence, not a test of today’s community build.
- AMAZONA’s 2023 OLED review finds the workflow absorbing after practice, while acknowledging that less familiar functions still send the player back to the manual. Its firmware 4.0 findings do not establish current firmware behavior.
- A January 2023 OLED-retrofit owner reported freezes after the upgrade. This is a historical individual report, not a current defect rate or proof that newly sold OLED units share the problem.

What Changed
What changed from the original Deluge.
The OLED version changes the display while retaining Deluge’s grid-and-arranger identity. Synthstrom also offers a retrofit path for older units; the initial conversion is not a DIY screen swap. Existing owners should compare that route with replacing the whole instrument, and distinguish official from community firmware features.
